When you know more, you have a greater ability to be objective, and this is why The Sage values intellect. They capitalize on every opportunity if it allows them to expand their base of knowledge.

If you answer yes to most of these questions, your target market is likely to be The Sage. They are often found in the education sector and value the ideas others can bring forth.

Marketing

When marketing to The Sage, you need to understand what they value in advertising efforts, and on the contrary, what they dislike. Each archetype is different, and to ensure your success, you need to understand what they value in brand and marketing.

You must understand that The Sage believes that power comes from knowledge and information. The more they are able to learn or teach, the better they feel. They use learning as a means to grow and develop. While they may get frustrated with difficult concepts, they enjoy being challenged in the way they think.

When you develop a marketing strategy targeted towards The Sage archetype, you need informational marketing. When your marketing integrates knowledge and factual information, The Sage is more likely to interact. They want to be challenged, and the better you can challenge them , the more likely they are to consume what you have to offer.

The Sage archetype loves being taught and to teach. By understanding their drive to better themselves intellectually, you can effectively target this archetype in your marketing efforts.
